We are a leading company actively searching for an experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Security Engineer, you will take a front-line role in protecting our company's systems and data against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implementation, continuous improvement, management, and enhancement of security platform tools, both in-house and outsourced. - Installation and operation of security measures, including firewalls and data encryption programs, to safeguard our systems and information infrastructure. - Documentation and assessment of security threats plus participation in strategies to mitigate their damage. - Routine reviews of cloud-based systems, end-point protection platforms, and email security SaaS platforms for potential security incidents. - Development of company-wide best practices for IT security and risk mitigation methods. - Lead the global security awareness and conduct training programs. - Continuous research on security enhancements and making potential recommendations to company leadership. - Maintenance of patch management for servers, PCs, and other devices. - Collaboration with external parties to routinely test for internal and external vulnerabilities. - Building security workflows for secure code deployment, validation of existing codes. - Stay on top of IT trends, services, technologies, compliance, and industry security standards.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Minimum of 5+ years' experience in information security or in managing various security aspects including identity management, firewalls, security awareness SaaS platforms, and collaboration with managed security providers for SIEM/firewall support. - Demonstrable experience in translating penetration test results and security assessment recommendations into actionable plans. - Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts. - Proven ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain preventative measures. - Knowledge in patch management, with the ability to deploy patches promptly whilst understanding their business impact.
