JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our thriving multi-family community in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting the Community Manager with property management tasks and ensuring a positive experience for residents and applicants. Your friendly demeanor and enthusiasm will make you the welcoming face and voice of our community.

DUTIES:

Report to the Community Manager and engage with prospective residents, residents, vendors, and all guests of the community.

Serve as the first impression for visitors to our Leasing Office.

Emphasize service and contribute ideas and suggestions for effective marketing/leasing plans.

Execute plans in accordance with Section 42 Guidelines, The Fair Housing Act, and RichSmith Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 Year leasing experience preferred

Great verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding focus on customer service

Ability to handle basic office tasks (e.g., typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering telephones)

Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment

Excellent organizational and time management skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive mobility and good physical condition

Ability to walk property, including multiple flights of stairs

Lift a minimum of 60 lbs. for tasks such as vacuuming, moving office furniture, and lifting supplies

Effective communication with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
