The Recruiting Specialist will develop an efficient and effective full cycle recruiting process including sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers of employment, all while ensuring a pleasant candidate experience.

Strategize with hiring managers to understand and anticipate hiring needs.

Design and develop creative recruiting strategies to identify talent.

Write and post position descriptions.

Source potential candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.

Screen candidate resumes and perform phone screenings.

Conduct interviews using various methods.

Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Perform reference checks.

Facilitate the offer process.

Maintain applicant tracking database with status of candidates.

Participate in recruiting events, such as career fairs and networking events.

Facilitate internal training on interview compliance and techniques.

Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.

Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; five plus years of relevant recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recruitment experience in the architectural and engineering industry strongly preferred. General understanding of construction management and engineering consulting positions and roles preferred. Must have a thorough understanding of interview techniques and candidate screening methods.

Computer and Software Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the Internet. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems.
