Machine Operator

Job Description

Our client is a locally owned and operated business based in Oshkosh. They specialize in the production of high-quality plastic products for various industries. They are committed to providing customers with the best possible products and services while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the plastic converting machine is running smoothly

- Perform roll changes of plastic material as needed

- Monitor and adjust machinery settings to ensure proper production processes per instructions and quality control

- Run product, take product off the line, and place on a pallet

- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and report issues to the supervisor

- Lift up to 50 lbs independently, over 50 lbs with a teammate

- Must be willing to cross-train on all machines

- Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure deadlines are met and products are produced efficiently

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Must be able to read a ruler in Metrics and use a Caliper

- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

- Ability to operate a plastic converting machine

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals

- Good communication and teamwork skills
