Peer Support Specialist

- Job Title: Peer Support Specialist - Assisting Others Toward Recovery - Location: Missoula, MT, US

- Requirement: * Peer Support Certification is mandatory for this position*.

$17.50 hourlyResponsibilities:

Provide transportation to clients for their appointments when necessary

Facilitate recovery-based group activities

Evaluate and assess factors that hinder independent or community living

Address communication skills in individuals

Implement skills to manage symptoms effectively

Help individuals develop social support systems

Adapt skills for various life domains such as home, work, education, leisure, and social activities

Offer immediate crisis intervention

Complete assigned training, both in person and through computer learning programs

Document activities and progress on a daily basis

Meet productivity standards

Cover shifts at group homes as needed, including day, evening, and overnight shifts

Schedule and attend meetings as required

Maintain regular attendance

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older (State requirement for licensing)

Must have current driver's license, transportation, and automobile insurance coverage

Follow HIPAA and maintain confidentiality!

Must have your Peer Support certification
