Medical Virtual Assistant (Licensed Nurse) - Healthcare Account

A medical virtual assistant works closely with medical professionals or health insurance companies to ensure that the best interests of the healthcare provider, patient, and medical establishment are met.

Tasks:

Initiating and developing the patient’s plan of care with established goals based on diagnosis and incorporated therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing

Providing administrative support that includes: a) data entry. b) appointment scheduling, c) email management, d) record management, and e) time-keeping

Navigating through and formulating tables, charts, and forms on spreadsheets

Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients by acting as a primary liaison between patients and providers

Strictly adhering and complying with the HIPAA policy

Qualifications:

Licensed/Registered Nurse

At least 3 years of Clinical Nursing experience

Experience in working with geriatric patients is preferred

Knowledge of medical terminologies involving different nursing departments

Highly knowledgeable in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office

Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
