Data Platform Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement robust data platform architectures that align with business objectives and support platform standards

Lead the design and optimization of data platforms, ensuring they meet integration, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data platform and integration solutions

Support data platform operations, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response

Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard data assets and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards

Develop and deliver data-related training and documentation for end-users

Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field

Atleast 5 years of experience in data platform management, data integration or a related field

Experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus. Familiarity with data integration technologies in the cloud is a plus

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security principles and best practices

Understanding of ITIL framework and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
