Distribution Center Head - Cebu

Position Summary:

The Distribution Center Head/DC Officer-in-Charge is responsible for supervising, controlling, and overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations and administration of the said DC. S/he guide, teach, and provide directions to his/her subordinates and must ensure compliance with company rules and regulations. S/he must ensure the safety of company properties and personnel.

Essential Duties:

· Supervises and monitors day-to-day operations such as deliveries, releasing, stock movements, inventory updates, storing and receiving, order processing, and preparation to meet customer satisfaction and company mission.

· Safeguards effective implementation of processes and procedures to ensure accurate inventory of DC.

· Ensures seamless, timely, and accurate delivery, through a fast and efficient disposition of daily transactions, maximizing resources to reach an annual savings goal.

· Timely transmittal of Received Delivery Receipts/Invoices to concerned collection personnel.

· Respond to customer inquiries if needed; Immediate response to resolve customer concerns, and issues within his or her control.

· Supervises maintenance and improvements of DC's assets to ensure a smooth and effective flow of operations.

· Reviews, checks, and approves projects, and reports about day-to-day operations.

Other Duties & Responsibilities (Optional)

· Propose and provide projects, processes, and initiatives that can help the company's service to customers and address problems within the operations.

· Conducts Employee performance appraisal based on company set schedule, and determines the manpower balance as the need arises.

· Performs other job-related functions/ tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Immediate Superior

Minimum Qualifications:

· Graduate with a Bachelor's degree or a business-related degree.

· At least 3 years of experience in transport and logistics operations and 2 years of a supervisory position.

· Residing in Mandaue, Cebu.
