Job Description:

Collaborate with the HireOn team to source and recruit qualified candidates for the QA Automation Intern position.

Work closely with the QA team to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Collaborate with developers to understand the architecture of our software applications and identify opportunities for automation.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.

Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.

Assist in the identification and prioritization of bugs and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Participate in team meetings, discussions, and code reviews to contribute to the overall improvement of our software development process.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation to continuously improve our testing practices.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments.

Prior experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.
