Looking to leverage your electrician experience into a career? Design Electric is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our Charlottesville, VA team.

All that you need is:

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Current Journeyman's or Master Electrician's license

1+ years of Project Management in construction

Proficiency using MS 365 and SharePoint

An advanced working knowledge of all electrical installations including fire alarm systems, lighting controls, distribution systems, branch wiring, grounding, etc.

Great organizational skills

Autodesk Build and Sage software knowledge is a plus

As a Project Manager, your day begins by collaborating closely with contractors, architects, engineers, and supervisors to ensure everyone is aligned and progress is on track. You manage intricate processes like submittals and procurement, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. Coordinating monthly billings and trade meetings keeps communication flowing and milestones in focus. You foster collaboration with the BIM/CAD team to integrate seamlessly into your project workflow. With an eye for detail, you handle resource estimation, budget drafting, and personnel negotiation efficiently. Crafting timelines, monitoring milestones, and delivering progress reports are integral to driving excellence from project inception to completion. In every task, you orchestrate success with precision and dedication.
