Interim Chief Financial Officer

Focus Search Partners has been engaged with a PE client looking to bring on an interim CFO as they prep the company for sale. The current CFO lacks gravitas to convince the newly acquired finance team to implement rigor and no further advancement is happening within the function. They need a strong finance leader who can take on the international team day to day management, as well as interface with the rest of the Senior Management team who is based in the US.

Requirements for the role:

Previous experience working within an IT Services business as a CFO

Prior Private Equity portfolio company leadership experience

Experience creating, evaluating, and/or improving a commercial finance process that deals with margin management, especially regarding new contracts.

managing a business via utilization forecasts, time and material, etc.

Action oriented

Executive presence/gravitas to influence senior leaders to change

Preferred Criteria:

Previous experience working with Teams in India

Experience leading a business with off-shore / near-shore delivery capabilities

Experience preparing a PE-backed company for sale and familiarity with ways to enhance a business to secure the most attractive sale price / multiple possible.
