The Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving the agreed upon sales quota and may include traveling away from the office to call on existing and prospective customers to promote products and developing client relationships for potential business opportunities. The role includes developing plans for continuous improvement and the measuring improvement in terms of travel management goals and objectives, customer service and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Conducts market research for potential clients and develops new corporate business.

Produces and distributes sales materials.

Maintains and develops customer base by suggesting products and services.

Understand own function from a bigger, organizational perspective.

Provides communication via phone, email and in person to handle customer requests and issues.

Provides assistance in reservations, paperwork and building strong relationships with vendors and customers.

Negotiates with suppliers and vendors for better rates.

Develops, manages and delivers client reporting requirements.

Complies with all policies and maintains high standard of work and communication.

Qualifications

Fluent in Japanese

Marketing Skills

Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills

Some SABRE experience.

2-3 Years in the Travel Industry

Preferred

Some experience with general office equipment and computer software.

Bilingual in Japanese is a huge plus.
