Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Shelby, NC

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:45pm-5:30am OR Friday, Saturday & Sunday 630p-630a

Pay Range: $32-$45 per hour

Job Type: Direct Hire

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated ultrasound technologist to join our team at in Shelby, NC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and possess strong technical skills in ultrasound imaging.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts.

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues as needed.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.

ARDMS or ARRT certification in ultrasound required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist preferred.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to work evening shifts, Monday through Thursday.
