EG4 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of both back-end and front-end solutions for our product. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, expertise in both back-end and front-end technologies, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Job Description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend and frontend applications using best practices and modern technologies.

Architect, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to support various functionalities and integrations.

Implement efficient and secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js).

Optimize application performance and reliability through code optimizations, caching strategies, and other techniques.

Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and fix bugs, and ensure software quality.

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize tasks, track progress, and deliver solutions on time.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve software development processes and techniques.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on both backend and frontend technologies.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or similar frameworks.

Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Hands-on experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience in building and consuming APIs.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with microservices architecture and related patterns.

Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Contributions to open-source projects or participation in developer communities.

Certifications related to software development or cloud technologies.
