Continuous Improvement Specialist

Reputable manufacturing company is looking to hire a Continuous Improvement Specialist in Milwaukee, WI (53207). This role will be contract-to-hire and is looking to interview/start immediately!

Pay: $33-37/hr (based on experience

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am – 4pm

Hybrid: 100% on-site

Responsibilities:

Identify waste and drive improvements in the shop and office utilizing lean tools to lead Problem Solving, Corrective Action/Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Kaizen Events, 5S, Kanban, Standard Work, Visual Management, and other CI efforts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive change across the organization

Responsible for managing plant data to identify impactful business opportunities and drive action

Deliver practical, hands-on training and coaching to associates on Lean Manufacturing tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support function

Follow-up, follow-through, and audit for sustainment

Must Have:

2+ years of results driven problem-solving experience using industry-standard methodology (PDCA, DMAIC, and Lean Tools)

1+ years background in Industrial or Process Engineering, Process-Based Management, Manufacturing,

Kaizen and 5S are desired

Project Management would also be a plus
