Working out of our DFW region FAR 145 Repair Station facility, you will have responsibliities for doing equipment TPM, troubleshooting and repair, working directly with our engineering team testing and validating new equipment models, assisting in domestic and international shipping/receiving, inventory management, EH&S support and other facilities maintenance activities, interacting with our sales directors and program managers to further developing sales opportunities while acquiring new skills and enhancing your team leadership capabilities?

EcoServices, LLC, a joint venture of ST Engineering North America and Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Services, Inc., is the premier provider internationally of on-wing gas turbine aero engine washes EcoServices is seeking candidates for up to three (3) open full-time salaried Aviation Maintenance Technician positions to be based at our Irving/Dallas, TX FAA 145 Repair Station (our DFW Service Center.)

Compensation will be based upon education and experience, including military aviation mechanic experience.

You MUST be certified under 14 C.F.R Part 65 (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) to be considered. CANDIDATES WITHOUT THIS CERTIFICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. CANDIDATES MUST ALSO HOLD A VALID U.S. DRIVERS LICENSE.

No exceptions can be made due to our aviation customers' and business requirements.

Our Aviation Service Mechanics are full-time, salaried employees (non-exempt, so overtime applies), reporting directly to the DFW Service Center manager or designee and will be primarily responsible for delivering EcoPower engine wash services to all airline customers (both commercial and military). The technician has a 40 hour per week base work schedule, but daily hours/schedules depend upon customer demand. The DFW Station management provides the local crew a schedule each week for the upcoming week or two, however, from week to week, a technician could be working different days and hours including overnights and weekends, based on the schedule provided by the customer. Schedule flexibility is essential.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting all aspects of providing EcoPower Engine Washes, including drivivehicles to support mobile washes. No applicant will be considered unless she/he holds a current and valid U.S. drivers' license. In addition, the Aviation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of all service center equipment and be engaged in the continuous improvement of all service center processes. An interest in and experience with equipment maintenance and repair is highly desirable.

Based in Irving, TX, the station services DFW/DAL airports, as well as other Texas locations (including San Antonio and Houston) and customers at commercial airfields and military bases within a 500 mile radius. Overnight travel is variable from month to month -- up to 20% overnight travel should be expected. Very limited international travel is possible.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician will ensure that all flight-line-related services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner. The Aviation Maintenance Technician will work directly with managers and mechanics from various commercial airlines and the U.S. Armed Forces, foster an understanding of customer engine maintenance and repair considerations or preferences, and will be expected to provide feedback and work towards resolving customer in-service issues.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician will be expected to complete, update and maintain records/database for all maintenance performed in accordance with FAA procedures.

Requirements:

Education: AA/AS degree and/or Technical School Certificate desired.

Licensure & Experience: Applicants must be certificated under 14 C.F.R. Part 65 (FAA Airframe & Powerplant). A broad knowledge of engine hardware and flight line operations/procedures as well as familiarity with the safe operation of heavy equipment and ground support equipment around aircraft is expected. At least 2 years of aviation maintenance experience is a requirement. Must hold a valid & current U.S. driver's license.

Regulatory Compliance: Must comply with FAA drug & alcohol pool, DOT and FMCSA requirements. EcoServices is a FAA regulated facility and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a salaried non-exempt position. Aviation maintenance technicians are salaried members of the EcoServices team and are also entitled to overtime pay, compliant with federal and Texas labor laws and regulations. Salary levels are commensurate with experience.
