Role Description
As a Trading Analyst at Clear Haven Capital Management, your primary responsibilities will be assisting in the management of the firm’s securities portfolios, including analyzing credit instruments, conducting research, and monitoring performance as well as assist with monthly reporting and other strategic initiatives. The analyst will work directly with the Head of Trading in the Boulder, CO office and also collaborate with other team members to support investment strategies and decision-making processes across public markets.
Job Responsibilities
Analyzing industries, markets, and credit instruments and working in direct collaboration with the Head of Trading
Counterparty analysis including business fundamentals, creation and maintenance of financial models and projections
Detailed fundamental collateral analysis across a wide range of consumer, small business, real estate and other investment classes
Build and maintain deal and structure models, building on fundamental collateral analysis
Interface directly with clients to assist them in navigating the deal and diligence process
Assisting in deal structuring, regulatory and legal analysis
Basic qualifications
Strong academic record with Bachelor’s level or above
Strong analytical ability including statistical analysis
The ability and a strong desire to build the skills required to rapidly analyze large data sets
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with counterparties around the world.
Analytic mindset with a particular eye for detail
Ability and dedication to meet aggressive deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Intex a plus
Experience in investment analysis (1-3 years a plus)
Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Proficiency with data analytics tools (Python, SQL, other)
