Our client, a well-known law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Paralegal to join their Corporate Litigation team! In this role, you will assist Partners and Associates with all aspects of complex corporate litigation work in Delaware Chancery Court.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide attorneys, members of the practice group, and other professional staff with various administrative and case support by handling complex tasks and projects throughout all phases and aspects of corporate litigation work.

Create and implement all elements of the case management system, including electronic file management, case calendaring, task lists, and related deadlines.

Assist in the preparation of pleadings and complete daily assignments related to supporting active litigation matters and preparing for trials.

Act as a liaison to clients, counsel, and courts regarding case issues.

Perform a full range of paralegal tasks for corporate litigation cases.

Prepare exhibit and hearing binders, both physical and electronic.

Prepare for and attend trials.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7-10 years of Paralegal experience in corporate litigation.

Must have Chancery Court experience.

Experience e-filing in DE courts and familiarity with DE court rules.

Paralegal Certificate required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Solid proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.

Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.

Ability to work under pressure with or without direct supervision and ability to multitask.

Availability to work overtime on weeknights and weekends.
