The WES/WMS Technical Administrator will oversee internal projects related to the implementation, optimization, and delivery of WES processes across our enterprise’s distribution and warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for the uptime and availability of the WES systems deployed across the various 1800Flowers fulfillment centers.

Works with various IT infrastructure teams ensuring WES servers are adequately monitored, backed up, and up to date with critical security patches.

Collaborate with WES Support Vendor to develop, test, and deploy new WES features and functionality.

Actively monitors and responds to incident tickets reported by End Users.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance or availability issues with the WES environment.

Collaborates with Business Partners to help define and document functional requirements for future WES enhancements.

Create and publish WES multi-year feature and functionality roadmap.

Ensure all changes to the WES production environment are properly documented and approved using the 1800 Flowers Change Management process.

Able to provide on-call and on-site support during peak shipping periods or Go-Lives as needed.

Willingness to travel to the warehouse facilities to work closely with business partners on complex projects or initiatives.

Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for P1 or business-impacting issues.

Participate in the annual budgeting cycle to help plan and secure funding for future WES-related implementations, upgrades, or projects.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience supporting and managing a Warehouse Execution System (WES). Manhattan, Pyramid, or Horizon experience is a plus.

Solid knowledge of Warehouse fulfillment functions and processes.

Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience supporting a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Experience interacting and collaborating with Business Partners and End Users.

Vendor Management experience.

Experience working with JIRA and Remedy ticketing systems (or equivalent applications).

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
