The Systems Test Lead is responsible for ensuring hardware and software products are integrated correctly, and to ensure quality standards and stakeholder requirements are met. This position is a leadership role that will have a team of offshore engineers creating test cases and automating test scripts. Test leads will provide guidance on case creation, requirements gathering, reporting production, and defect documentation etc.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division and can be located in the following locations on a Hybrid capacity- Roswell, GA.

Responsibilities

Developing test strategies following engineering methodologies and v-model approach.

Creation of test plans to verify the products design specifications and functional requirements are met.

Lead a team creating automation scripts and developing test cases.

Review test case creation to ensure product is verified properly.

Manage the test execution of each product.

Drive Test Automation to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical discipline)

5 + years of experience in engineering related fields.

Experience with multiple communications media and protocol including, but not limited to, wired, wireless, optic, CAN, BACNet, Modbus, TCP/IP

Experience with a similar role/position as a ‘Test Lead’ or ‘Lead QA Analyst’

Experience in Jira or other task tools

Experience in Jama or other requirement management tools

Experience with automation testing tools: Python, LabVIEW, test stand, robot, etc

High technical aptitude

Able to work with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts

Experienced in leading teams

Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer facing services/products.

Great presentation and communication skills

Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualification And Experience

Master’s degree in engineering

HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred
