The Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Plumbing Engineer for our Bethesda, MD office. As the Senior Plumbing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

In this role, you will:

Design plumbing systems including medical/laboratory piping and gases

Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems and topographical maps

Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients

Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment

Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls

Perform QA/QC of design work

You will be a great fit if:

You have a minimum of 10 years’ design experience

You have thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology

You have experience with a wide variety of commercial designs, but extensive Lab/Healthcare is a MUST

You have an excellent work ethic and attitude

CPD/CPDT is preferred

Required Skills:

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Proven ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects

Good communication and time management skills

Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation

Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize tasks
