SQL Developer WMS Highjump

We seek a skilled SQL Developer to join our Information Technology team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Craft and execute SQL queries (simple to advanced) and stored procedures for various applications.

Design, modify, and optimize database tables, archives, and indexes for peak performance.

Implement automation through trigger creation/modification.

Monitor and optimize database performance.

Resolve and update IT tickets related to SQL tasks efficiently.

Perform database administration tasks (installation/upgrades, user/security management, backups, restores, replication).

Develop SQL-based reports and ad-hoc queries.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of SQL solutions for our warehouse management system.

Collaborate with application vendors on technical support issues.

Create/maintain standard operating procedures and documentation.

Participate in on-call and after-hours support duties as needed.

Qualifications:

SQL Developer knowledge is required to support HighJump development (reports, break/fix, and project support).

Must have work experience with HighJump Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support this core distribution application that MBB operates in. Techno-functional experience is a must for quick fixes and process reengineering.

DBA knowledge is needed to support the setup of a new SQL Server with an SQL Database for reporting and analytics, utilizing Power BI.
