Job Summary/Purpose:

Enru currently has an opening for a Senior Contracts Manager to join the Enru Legal & Contracts team. This position will report to the Enru General Counsel. Candidates located in Chicago, Illinois or Atlanta, Georgia are preferred, although we are open to considering individuals from other locations for a remote position which may involve occasional travel.

In this role, you will be working closely with Enru’s General Counsel to deliver exceptional support to Enru’s customers and our internal clients in the Sales and Supply Chain teams. This will require you to meet complex contractual challenges with creative approaches as part of a diverse team. Ultimately, you will establish yourself as an indispensable go-to partner to Enru and its customers, owning front-line contracting issues and driving them to resolution. You will have the autonomy to make decisions, create solutions and solve problems to influence the right outcomes for our customers, suppliers, and our business.

Position (Essential Functions):

Partner with Enru’s Sales and Supply Chain teams to support core and strategic contracting initiatives. This will require collaboration on commercial strategy, contract development, drafting, & negotiation of customer and supplier contracts, software licensing agreements, and data processing agreements.

Manage the life-cycle for all customer-facing agreements, including drafting, editing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and bids;

Ensure the timely and accurate movement of customer-facing agreements through the contract life cycle;

Serve as the primary Legal & Contracts point of contact for all contract and bid-related issues;

Support the negotiation and drafting of supply agreements;

Act as chief administrator of Enru’s contract management system;

Influence, educate and train stakeholders and leadership on contracting requirements, terms and best practices;

Identify process improvement opportunities and develop new processes and standard operating procedures to improve the contracting and bidding experience;

Work on strategic projects in support of Legal & Contracts Priorities.

Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in the United States;

Minimum of 7 years of “hands on” experience with customer and supplier contract drafting and negotiation; Experience in the logistics and transportation industry preferred;

Experience in contract lifecycle management, proposal development, project management and external customer communications;

Proficiency with contract and proposal management tools such as Ironclad, Hubspot, SAP and Salesforce, etc.

Good writer;
