The Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the VP of Finance, plays a crucial role in comprehending the organization's operations and delivering insightful financial analysis to drive the company's financial growth. We seek a proactive and ambitious individual who collaborates effectively across the Finance team and throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting:

Evaluate management reports, comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts, focusing on KPIs, business trends, overhead, and business development.

Assist the accounting team during financial close and enhance reporting capabilities using Sage Intacct.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data across various departments including HR, marketing, operations, and legal.

Develop and monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing daily and weekly updates to senior management.

Budgeting and Planning:

Contribute to the budgeting, planning, and reforecasting processes.

Administer the budgeting system and ensure a transparent and effective process covering Revenue, Expenses, Capital Expenditures, and compliance with financial obligations.

Document and communicate budget decisions and facilitate Operations’ Performance Goals.

Process Improvement:

Evaluate and implement process enhancements and automation to advance the FP&A function.

Offer consultative support to identify and implement company-wide process improvements for efficiency and cost-saving.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.

3-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Solid foundation in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.

Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.

Familiarity with Sage Intacct or equivalent accounting software.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Sound judgment and discretion in various situations.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all levels.
