Key Responsibilities:

Conduct intake, tracking, investigation, and resolution of team member issues, while ensuring fairness and legal compliance.

Provide coaching and counseling to relevant parties based on investigation findings.

Assist in documenting and reviewing disciplinary actions, in coordination with management.

Conduct onsite HR and risk assessments, summarizing results and ensuring follow-up.

Keep leadership informed of HR policies and changes in employment law.

Coordinate compliance with federal and state-specific training requirements.

Manage worker's compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work processes.

Provide mentorship to HR coordinator and assist in administration of job-protected absences.

Conduct exit interviews for voluntary management terminations.

Manage unemployment claims and ensure compliance with E-verify.

Oversee Focal Point Reviews and complete voluntary employment surveys.

Ensure up-to-date postings of federal, state, and local employment materials.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Knowledge of federal and state-specific employment laws.

Experience managing leaves of absence and familiarity with paid time off laws.

Previous experience in multi-site/multi-state HR experience required in Texas and California.

Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in HRIS technology and intermediate Excel skills.

️ Some travel may be required.

️ Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
