Senior Electrical Engineer - Power - Hybrid Role

My Client are a multinational specialist in the Engineering, Installation and Maintenance of low carbon, renewable and resilient power generation and storage systems. Applications include combined heat and power (CHP) with natural gas, biogas and landfill gas, renewable natural gas solutions, CO2 recovery systems and hybrid energy solutions including microgrids and energy storage. They joined the US market in 2016 backed by one of the most recognizable brands worldwide and have found great success in their sector. They are looking to appoint the first US based Lead Electrical Engineer at a Senior level who they can build around moving forward as this part of the business continues to grow. YOU DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE DESIGNING MICROGRIDS TO BE SUITABLE TO THIS ROME

Day to day

Translate and develop concepts into designs to meet the functional and contractual specifications of secured orders,

Developing and detailing specifications, producing calculations and making component selection.

Liaise with Mechanical Engineers, AutoCAD Designers, Project Managers, Instillation team through the full project lifecycle

Ensure that there is full adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures in all work undertaken.

Background

Degree in Electrical Engineering required

A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in an associated industry with a background in power generation (between 1-25MW) or Renewable Natural Gas.

Knowledge of low and of medium voltage power trains and associated control and instrumentation.
