Job Description:

The job title will be determined based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. You will be responsible for

• Design system level electronics architecture

• Develop analog and digital signal processing electronics from scratch

• Ensure electrical component and system designs have appropriate analytical verification, production level validation, and field-testing

• Lead and motivate other engineers, technicians, and PCB designers in a team environment

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience designing and developing electronics for medical x-ray CT is highly desired.

• Experience and success with low noise, small analog signal detector readout electronics, as well as analog to digital converting circuits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 8+ years of work experience.

Skilled at troubleshooting board issues and implementing tests at system level

Specifying PMSM/Induction motors and position or speed controls, field-oriented control (FOC), stability analysis, model based closed-loop control.

Experience with various PWM schemes such as space vector, discontinuous, and sinusoidal modulation, including data-acquisition methods

Strong understanding of BLDC motor control, various input sensors, low level/high speed signal formats as well as over typical network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD and CANOpen.

Advanced knowledge of power electronics products: AC/DC converters, inverters, EMI filters, high voltage power distribution and others as additional.

Experience with multi-motor synchronization control system is preferred

Hands-on experience with oscilloscope, DMM, signal generator, power supply, etc.
