Role: Cloud Architect

Atlanta, GA

FTE/Contract

For the cloud architect role we are looking for top level skill with: AWS native services. Hands on with hybrid cloud supporting applications running between on prem and AWS. Expert level hands on support migrating apps from on prem to cloud. Coding, scripting, programming skills are a secondary plus.

Job Description:

·15+ years’ experience in information technology application solution design and development, planning and operations, system life cycle management

·Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

·Expertise in AWS cloud technologies. Cloud based server-less focused solution architecture

·Expertise in AWS Well Architected Framework. Cost Optimization. High availability and Fault tolerant solution architecture

·AWS Professional certifications are a plus

·Experienced with deploying and managing infrastructures based on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenStack, and Clouds such as OpenShift, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform

·Experience developing, testing and deploying APIs

·Experience building applications based on Microservices Architecture

·Experience with VersionOne, JIRA, GIT(gitlab, Bitbucket or other.)

·Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Jenkins, Ansible)

·Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities:

·Design and develop AWS cloud-based or on-prem services and applications and lead the implementation of these designs and architecture

·Understand complex business problems and provide various solution options and technical concepts Embrace and influence domain driven design and architecture principles of security, scale, uptime and reliability

·Collaborate with business and IT teams to create solution plans including level of effort estimates and optimized delivery approaches from MVP to full scale

·Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements

·Identify, develop, and manage reference architecture and design patterns for digital applications

·Identify issues with the code, develop & understand proof of concepts

Work cross functionally with Enterprise and Portfolio Architects to stay informed of changes that may impact functionality and proactively address them
