Privacy Lawyer (Secondment)

Entrusted Advisors is actively seeking a talented privacy attorneys to join our talent bench. Must have experience providing privacy legal framework to new innovative technology products, experience with AI is a plus. Individuals who have previously worked as a product counsel for a technology company is preferred. Responsibilities:

Monitor and develop expertise in laws and regulations, as well as industry trends, applicable to online safety, integrity, and youth across multiple jurisdictions, including content regulation, online safety, child protection, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, and consumer protection laws.

Provide legal advice to product and business teams to help ensure compliance with global legal frameworks applicable to online safety, integrity and youth

Coordinate with public policy, communications, product management, operations, engineering, product marketing, child safety, law enforcement, and other cross-functional teams on external communications, policy development, and product development and launches

Requirements

J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar + 7 years plus experience

Experience working independently and cross-functionally

Experience working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment

Proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

Prior in-house experience at a technology company (can include Secondment roles)

Experience with content regulation, online safety, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, consumer protection, and/or youth protection laws and regulations

Experience providing product counseling with a privacy focus
