TITLE: Configuration Manager

LOCATION: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid - On-Site)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Long Term Contract (12+ months, opportunity for extension or conversion)

PAY RANGE: $70-$85/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Configuration Manager, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and implementation of configuration items, ensuring control of configuration baselines and conducting audits. You will also develop and maintain Configuration Management processes, mentor project teams, and provide training on procedures. Additional responsibilities may involve contributing to program governance documents, managing small purchases, and coordinating with support groups for project deliverables.

Lead Change Control Board Meetings and enact changes as directed.

Assist with design document management and configuration control.

Mentor and train on Configuration Management concepts, procedures, and work instructions.

Configure, update, and manage project Atlassian Confluence pages and Jira database.

Review documents for compliance with configuration management processes.

Coordinate document transmission among different project partners.

Review configuration management issues, drive resolution, and implement any required changes to the process.

Perform credit card purchases for the program that provide essential swift procurement for the program.

Be responsible for direct communication and relationships with Finance, ESH&Q, Legal, and Procurement.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. degree in a technical field or at least 3 years of configuration management experience in a technical or medical industry.

Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Experience with process improvement. Ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities to implement continuous improvement solutions.

Experience in documenting configuration management processes and procedures.
