Dental Assistant Position at Whole Dental Wellness

Whole Dental Wellness (WDW) is a team- and patient-centered dental office providing patients of all ages optimal care. Office Hours:

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: 8am - 6pm

Wednesday: 8am - 5pm

Thursday: 8am - 5pm

Friday: 7am - 2pm

Saturday: 8am - 2pm (one Saturday per month)

Job Requirements

Punctuality: Arriving 30 minutes before our start time to get ready to go for the morning huddle

Completing opening and closing duties

Taking impressions, including pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns

Providing chair-side assistance to our Docs, including room set up, chart documentation, passing instruments, room clean up, and stocking

Proper sterilization according to regulations, including set up and delivery of instruments

Helping our hygiene team out with x-rays and periodontal charting

Performing procedures using the latest technology with our digital workflow (including an intraoral scanner, 3D imaging and AI technologies)

Ensuring appointments are starting and ending in a timely manner

Managing the care of patients who are driven to care for their oral health

Helping our Docs educate and align patient needs with patient wants resulting in appropriate treatment acceptance

Creating a comfortable and welcoming clinical environment for new and returning patients

Seeing a high volume of patients every day and working with multiple Docs

Preferred Skills

X-Ray Certified

CPR Certified

Computer savvy

Well-organized

Excellent communication skills with the team and with patients
