Certified Caregiver/Med Tech
American Orchards
Gilbert, AZ
Sign-on Bonus: $500 (please see hiring director for more details)
Shift Details: 8 hour shifts / 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Follow each resident's individualized care plan by providing assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, etc.)
Provides medication administration services to the residents as determined by community policy and state regulations
Maintains proper labeling and storage of medications according to community policy and procedures
Obtains and records resident's vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight, etc.) as directed
Escort residents to activities
Maintains current and accurate resident charts
Orders medications, as needed, per community policy and regulation
Communicate with oncoming shift to ensure follow through of duties
Build positive family and POA relationships to ensure customer's satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
Arizona Caregiver Certification
CPR/1st Aid Card
Food Handler's Card
Passion to serve seniors
Ability to relate well to residents and their families
Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
Self-starter, creative, organized, and professional
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
