Job Description

TITLE: Order Fulfillment Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY: Oversees the warehouse & yard order processors, delivery drivers, and shippers. Coordinates

the processing of Work Orders. Communicates the status of Work Orders with customers, sales staff, delivery staff and

other relevant personnel. Also responsible for timely and accurate billing of Work Orders, inventory stocking, restocking

and inventory audits as well as scrapping reports relevant to the department. Ensures the quality and timely delivery of

parts and communicating order processing issues.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assigns work orders to staff and ensures that Work Orders are processed timely.

Reports status of orders as they are being processed and communicates delays, changes, and/or any issues

delaying the timely completion of Work Orders to appropriate staff, primarily sales staff.

Accurately processing billing and/or Work Order cancellations before shipping or delivery begins.

Serves as the Help desk for Order Fulfillment employees by making themselves readily available to answer

questions from all relevant parties. Facilitates timely communication between all relevant parties and staff.

Assists in ensuring quality of the product before it reaches the customer and/or in restocking into inventory.

Assists inefficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

Assists in receiving all incoming deliveries including, but not limited to, ordered parts, returned orders, ordered

supplies, etc.

Responsible for appropriate documentation of all items received including issuing credits to customers within

company guidelines.

Runs employee meetings as needed.

Assists in updating inventory details when software updates occur.

Oversees timely inventory stocking, restocking, and inventory audits as well as scrapping reports and core

processing.

Backs up order processing staff as needed to keep orders processed timely and accurately.

Assists in the interview process for relevant staff.

Ensures the safety policies and procedures are being followed by all staff.

Supervise the order fulfillment staff to ensure jobs are done correctly and safely.

Keeps the warehouse clean and clear of garbage and debris.

Making sure OSHA laws are being obeyed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Data entry, order processing, inventory.

Hours: At least 45 hours per week required

TOOLS: None.

LICENSES: None.
