Counter Attendant - Concession Stand

Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as counter attendants. As a counter attendant, you will be responsible for taking orders from customers, processing payments, assembling food orders, and providing excellent service with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they approach the counter, take their orders accurately, and provide helpful recommendations as needed.

Operate cash registers and POS systems to process orders, accept payments, and issue receipts.

Assemble food orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

Prepare and package food items, such as burgers, fries, sandwiches, and beverages, for dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru service.

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter and surrounding areas, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash.

Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items.

Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and resolving issues promptly.

Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and managers, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service or fast-food environment preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.

Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers and POS systems accurately.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
