Position: Food Production/Packer

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2pm to 10pm

As a Food Packer in our factory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of food products. You will be responsible for carefully handling and packaging food items according to company standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging: Efficiently and accurately package food products according to specified guidelines and instructions.

Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of packaged products to ensure they meet quality standards, including checking for proper seals, labels, and appearance.

Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking packaged products and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.

Sanitation: Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards to prevent contamination of food products. Keep work area clean and organized at all times.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries. Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.

Equipment Operation: Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Adherence to Regulations: Familiarize yourself with food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and ensure compliance in all packaging activities.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
