Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Warehouse Assistant position in the Traverse City, Michigan area. This position is responsible for checking inventory and orders, strong interaction with fellow employees. Complete delivers by driving a truck and trailer to and from jobsites as needed, and occasional operating of forklift.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and ensures strict compliance with safety, health, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies, procedures, and principles.

Controls inventory levels by conduction physical counts.

Present favorable company image to customers and employees.

Maintain warehouse and equipment with high expectations of appearance and cleanliness.

Help coordinating equipment, and material suppliers to meet project demands.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience:

Self-motivated.

Ability to follow warehouse processes.

Skills in inventory control.

Basic accounting knowledge and profit orientation.

Knowledge of computer applications
