Job Description

The Vice President of Human Resources Business Partners for AgriSompo is responsible for aligning AgriSompo’s business objectives with its employees and leaders to enable strategy, shape behaviors and drive results. The role will lead, partner, and influence the business with key HR decisions and actions around organizational design, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement and diversity and inclusion. Most importantly, the VP HRBP will manage and develop a highly dynamic, business facing HR team through our next phase of growth and change.

This role will support AgriSompo North American and AgriSompo International which currently includes employees in United States, Bermuda, Italy and Brazil.

Key member of the AgriSompo Executive Group+ that will develop, lead and drive people initiatives (working leader) including:

Execution of all aspects of HRBP’s within the AgriSompo BU including talent management, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, organizational development and diversity and inclusion.

Managing the headcount for in line with the strategic growth plans.

Utilizing Workday to its full potential for HR processes and procedures.

Identify staffing requirements and sourcing strategies needed to meet the goals and objectives of the business. Drive sourcing, recruitment, interview, and selection processes in coordination and collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team.

Ensure diversity & inclusion initiatives are supported and integrated into HR deliverables including recruiting and development.

Provide employee relations management that creates a positive organizational culture and minimizes risk. Investigate and resolve employee complaints, issues and concerns regarding employment practices.

Implement and execute performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans.

Partner with the business and the compensation team in annual compensation planning process.

Assist in the administration, management, and implementation of targeted training programs (face-to-face, or computer-based training) as required and in collaboration with our talent development team.

Management and development of a team of Human Resource Business Partners.

Cultivate leadership and ethical values in self and others through modeling and coaching.

As a trusted HR business partner, build relationships with clients and influence across the organization.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Ensure high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Position Requirements

15 + years exempt-level Human Resource experience

10+ years management experience

Experience with HRIS; Workday preferred

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office Skills required

Excellent data management and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Recruiting, employee relations, compensation planning, and performance management experience required

Strong people management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

Ability to lead, manage and thrive through growth and change

Bachelor’s degree required - Human Resources Management, Business or related field or equivalent.
