Controller

Our client is a $500m services company based in Irvine, This person will work report directly to the CFO and have management responsibilities for an accounting team of 20 employees.

Responsibilities:

Oversight of Accounting Staff to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of accounting functions as per company policies and internal controls.

Maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations within prescribed schedules and in accordance with company policies.

Lead the annual audit process and maintaining meticulous records with accordance to GAAP+

Production of financial statements and reports aligned with company timelines and operational requirements.

Contribution to annual budget formulation and oversight of capital expenditure approvals.

Assistance to the GL Department during month-end closing procedures when necessary.

Collaboration with division counterparts to enhance existing financial processes, adopt new technologies, and strengthen internal controls.

Management of local, state, and federal reporting obligations alongside tax filings.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications & Experience:

B.S./B.A. degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; CPA is a plus.

Position requires 5+ years of accounting management experience within a large ($300m+ Revenue) organization

Strong Excel skills are required. Compensation Range $170,000 - $180,000
