Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an Overnight Cashier at our fishing pier. As an integral part of our operation, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations during the overnight hours, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

Cash Handling and Sales: Process ticket sales, merchandise sales, and any other transactions accurately using the cash register system. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and ensuring a positive experience.

Stock Management: Regularly restock drinks, foods, bait, and merchandise to ensure availability for customers. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or inventory discrepancies to management.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform deep cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including restrooms, seating areas, and retail space. Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable for customers.

Security: Maintain a vigilant presence overnight to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management immediately.

Opening and Closing Duties: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing the cash register, securing the premises, and completing any necessary paperwork.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow company policies and procedures at all times, including cash handling protocols, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule to work overnight shifts.

Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
