Laundry Service General Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Laundry Service Manager to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers to ensure our daily goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. You will oversee the billing and invoicing for all customers.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams based on route schedule/timeline

Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel

Maintain/Exceed production levels, as set by industry minimum standards

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and ensure staff follows as well

Advise on current operations, and formulate new methods to improve output in departments

Ensure invoices are getting to clients and payments are being collected

Ensure inventory levels are proper and service expectations are met.

Closing duties

Qualifications:

Previous experience in either production, manufacturing, housekeeping, laundry service are a plus, but not required

Knowledge of production tools, equipment, and processes will lend well to this position

Strong leadership qualities, position oversees 1-2 floor leads/supervisors and approx. 10-20 employees depending on the season.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a requirement, Bonus points for additional languages.

Ability to manage conversations and correspond via. email

Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, specifically Excel and Word.

Knowledge of Quickbooks or other similar products.

Compensation will be based on prior experience, and overall skill level.Company Description
