Machine Operator

Job Description

This position will safely operator machines such as presses, forming machines and punch that cut shape and bend metal plates, or structures by performing the following duties:

Temp to Perm 7:30pm -6:00am. Monday through Thursday

$19-20 an hour

Setting up and operating machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Using precision tools, inspecting parts, attaining production goals, and reducing errors.

Performing periodic checks on equipment and solving problems as detected.

Must be able to read & interpret blueprints, understand metal fabrication and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Ensuring the safety of yourself and the team while fulfilling job responsibilities.

Be able to work extended hours and /or shift work schedule if required.

Qualifications

1. High School or equivalent

2. Mechanical aptitude

3. Able to use measuring devices

4. Prefer knowledge and or experience with metal fabrication.

5. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

6. Must be able to stand for extended periods.
