Job Description

Seeking a skilled and dedicated in-house Paralegal to engage with various family-owned enterprises, fostering a dynamic and stimulating work setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage and organize contracts, agreements, and legal documents pertinent to the company's operations.

Prepare, review, and refine legal documents, encompassing NDAs, EB-5 project documents, third-party agreements, developer questionnaires, lease agreements, and amendments.

Assist outside counsel by assembling, reviewing, redacting, and organizing information and documents.

Oversee the review, redaction, and submission of Freedom of Information Act requests. Assist outside counsel with governmental filings by gathering requisite documents.

Assist in drafting applicable project legal documents, such as escrow agreements, pre-subscription agreements, etc.

Provide comprehensive support to the Director of Corporate Governance, Senior Paralegal, General Counsel, and Deputy General Counsel in various legal matters, as well as other internal departments as needed.

Assist with insurance-related matters, including policy tracking, requesting policies and endorsements, and overseeing renewals.

Efficiently organize and maintain case files

Requirements:

5 to 6 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting.

Experience in insurance is desirable

Strong organizational and multitasking

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
