PrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Central Oregon businesses, is looking for Production Specialist for a for a Local Aerospace company in Bend, OR. The right person will be self-motivated, a self-starter, and highly organized.

Job Description:

The Production Technician is responsible for assembling, testing and repairing new and used products, performing quality control inspections on raw materials/components and work in process products, and kitting/packing outgoing customer orders. These duties contribute to work flow of three departments: Production (including Repair Stations), Quality Control and Fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate, maintain, clean and store, tools and equipment necessary for the production of company products.

• Ensure that all tools and equipment in use have a current calibration record and identification before using.

• Ensure that all equipment, tool and machine areas are kept clean and hazard free.

• Learn and understand the principles of lean manufacturing and 6s always working to the standard of “Relentless Elimination of Waste”.

• Continually pursue lean manufacturing principles through education and continual implementation.

• Become and remain expert in knowledge with the company’s quality management system and continually put into effect the quality management system throughout operations.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing and Production experience (1 year)

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

• Must be able to use standard hand tools

• Familiarity with production processes and drawings a plus

• Prior experience in aviation a plus, but not required.
