Seal Coating Division Leader / Estimator

Job Description

This role will require a high level of professionalism, the person filling this role will be responsible at times to estimate a project and meet with clients as well as run and manage the projects. You will work both in the field as well as the office and will report directly to the owner.

· Working with the owner estimating projects

· Researching and securing new business

· Managing and completing each project with your team and the owner

· Responsible for completing projects safely.

· Responsible for completing each job at or under budget.

· Responsible for customer job quality and follow-up if required.

· Responsible for taking care of company assets assigned to you.

Requirements:

· General Knowledge of Seal Coating, Crack Filling and Paving Preferred

· Must be professional, organized, motivated and comfortable working on a computer.

· Must be comfortable performing field work and leading a 2–3-person team.

· Must have excellent communication skills.

· Must be adaptable and will do what is needed to successfully complete a project.

· Punctual, dependable and able to work within allotted timeframes.

D&J Contracting is a full-service paving, sealing coating and concrete contractor. We have been in business for 36 years and are seeking to hire a person to help manage the work in the field along with representing D & J Contracting when speaking with customers, engineers, City Officials & Inspectors. This is a combination hands on field supervisor as well as working in the office. Experience in the paving industry is required. This position is a year-round full-time position and training will be provided.
