Position Title: Sr. Capture Manager
As a Sr. Capture Manager, you'll serve as the cornerstone for growth by ensuring our client's dominance in AI/ML, DevSecOps, and Enterprise IT, and fortifying our reputation as a key player in offering pioneering solutions for the modern era. By molding strategies and harnessing a dynamic team's capabilities, we stand poised to capture influential contracts and deliver unmatched value to our clients.
Compensation: $180,000.00-$220,000.00
Location: Reston, VA (hybrid flex)
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret or ability to obtain
Sr. Capture Manager Duties:
As the Federal Civilian and Defense initiatives increasingly shift towards modern and intelligent solutions, securing vital contracts emerges as a primary mission. In this role, you are entrusted with bridging together growth, operations, and proposals by architecting transformative strategies and directly influencing critical missions across our sectors: Defense, National Security, and Citizen Services. As a key member of the growth team, you will provide leadership, critical thought, and a strategic mindset to winning business opportunities. You will also partner with business development, program leadership, solution architects and functional leadership to develop winning strategies, solutions, and proposals.
Sr. Capture Manager Qualifications:
10 years of capture experience and a solid understanding of federal government acquisition lifecycles, buying trends, budgets, and requirements
Proven track-record of winning $30M+ single-award, full and open opportunities
Strong working knowledge of the Shipley-like business development and capture management processes and techniques
Strong understanding of winning work on BICs, GWAC, Agency MAC, and alternative contracting models (OTAs, SBIRs, etc.)
Exceptional strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate market and customer insights into winning capture strategies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams in successful capture efforts
