Field Geologist

Geo pros, Inc. is recruiting for a Field Geologist position. This position is in the dynamic geological landscapes of North, Central, and East Texas, as well as Southern Arkansas. Roles and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate field activities with the Project Engineer and Drilling department.

- Assist in efforts to plan and field locate drilling locations.

- Oversee geotechnical drilling for soil and rock sampling,

- Perform soil and rock logging activities both in the field and lab.

- Assist in piezometer design and installation and perform groundwater readings

- Assign geotechnical tests, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Qualifications, Technical Skills, and Management Knowledge:

- Bachelor's degree in Geology.

- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; On the job training is available.

- Willingness to travel 50%-75% of the time.

Requirements for Job:

- Effective coordination of multidisciplinary field activities.

- Strong organizational skills for planning and executing field operations.

- Willingness and eager to learn.

Successful candidate will become:

- Proficient with geological mapping and sampling techniques.

- Proficient with geotechnical testing and analysis.

- Familiar with geospatial and data analysis software.
