Material Handler Forklift

JOB TITLE: Material Handler/Foklift

Pay: $18.00

Hours: 6am to 2pm

Location: Elkhart

JOB SUMMARY:

Manages and organizes activities to ensure effective and efficient processing, shipping, storage, and issuance of materials throughout the organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Plans and manages movement of materials to support work shift activity

Manages the inventory positions of all products and coordinates with all areas necessary to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained

Coordinates documentation to physical product to ensure timely, damage free, and accurate shipments are completed

Interfaces with other divisions and operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products and to resolve work order discrepancies

Supplying all production lines at AI with need raw materials and removing of skids of completed finished goods

Loading/unloading trucks

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations, at least two (3) yearsâ experience as warehouse team member in related industry

Ability to read, write, speak English and basic mathematical skills

Good driving record, no property damage accidents

Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and responsibly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Good visual acuity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds on regular basis, ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, bend, twist; ability to perform overhead work, good physical condition

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in industrial/warehouse setting with exposure to fumes, dust, cold/heat, humidity, on a regular basis. Positions travels to and from outside warehouse and manufacturing facility on powered industrial truck to transport materials with exposure to inclement weather on year-around basis
