In this crucial role, you'll manually test and ensure the highest quality of new payment integrations and risk management features, shaping the trust and reliability of our systems.

Your day-to-day:

Manual testing of backend tasks of Payments and Risk domains: payment provider integrations, fraud detection tool integrations, data integrity, API level testing of internal payment and risk services.

Manual testing of Dashboard for Payment and Risk domains: payment flows, KYC flows, internal tooling, regression testing of other impacted flows.

Occasionally, manual testing of other domains.

Automation of the above scenarios.

Suggesting various testing strategies for our products.

Confirming changes are done correctly based on Jira tickets, designs and user flows.

Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring their testability and coverage.

Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies, providing detailed inputs for the development team.

Participating in all team meetings.

Advocate for quality improvements in the development process.

Tech Stack:

Knowledge of Jira or similar software.

Had worked in Agile.

Database knowledge.

Should be able to use Web Dev tools.

Should be able to use Postman.

Your skills & experience:

Proven experience as a QA engineer in a similar industry, preferably with a focus on payment systems or financial services.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a significant emphasis on manual testing.

Ability to design and execute detailed test cases that cover functional requirements.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Accountability for owns’ work.

Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive defect reports.

Fluent in written and verbal English.

Experience with automation testing tools is a great advantage, or a strong desire and capability to learn automation in the near future.

NICE TO HAVE:

Degree in IT, engineering, or similar.

ISTQB foundation certificate.

Ability to collaborate with developers to ensure that all bugs are completely fixed.

Knowledge of Proxying/VPNs.

Have experience documenting system functionality.

Postman knowledge or API testing.

Demonstrated interest in or initial steps towards learning automated testing tools.

Salary:

Gross salary: 2810 - 4300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
