Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a patent paralegal on an interim or temp to perm basis:

Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented patent litigation paralegal to join our intellectual property litigation team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will provide crucial support in patent infringement cases and litigation matters.

Company: Our client is a full-service, national law firm that boasts a remarkable record of litigation, transactional and regulatory successes in the most consequential matters.

Location: Dallas.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in all phases of patent litigation, including pre-suit investigations, fact discovery, claim construction, expert discovery, and trial preparation.

Prepare evidence binders, deposition binders, and other litigation support materials.

Organize and maintain litigation databases, document repositories, and case files.

Assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and document productions.

Support attorneys in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings by organizing exhibits and evidence.

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training is preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a patent litigation paralegal, including district court litigation, IPR proceedings, and ITC proceedings.

Proficiency in patent database research and analysis tools.

Familiarity with patent litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and e-discovery practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced litigation environment.
