Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion

Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients

Demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in litigation

Produces quality legal work and bills the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services

Manages business and generates business through group and individual efforts

Complies with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession

Required Education: Juris Doctor

Preferred Education:

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law in good standing in the state of Illinois; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements

Required Experience: 2 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm

Preferred Experience: 4-6 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm

Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction

Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer

Travel Required: Less than 10%
